We are in an age in which the online world is every bit as important as the real world. It offers us many things that are not only the same as what you would experience offline, but more enhanced due to the nature of online interactivity. People can experience the lives of others through the uses of social networking sites like facebook and myspace. They can even make friends and find love through these online social networks. You name anything you’d encounter in your non-virtual life and I bet there is a way to encounter it online as well. The technologies that don’t exist online are making their way there and will be available in the future, I guarantee it. With all of these new and emerging technologies, there is a greater need for people with a strong sense of design and usability to pave the way for the rest of the world.
